We are glad you have chosen to make our Township your new home. On the side of this page you will find links to other pages of our website you might find helpful. Below is a short list of To-Do’s as a new resident.

The Township Municipal Building is open from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and staff are available to help answer any questions you might have while settling in.

New Resident To Do’s

1. Submit a Moving Permit – Moving Permits are important for updating Township records, taxes, and utility bills.
   
   • Print/Download a Moving Permit, or Pick one up at the Township Municipal Building.
   • Submit the completed form by mail with your $1.00 fee. Staff will answer any questions you have, and you will receive a welcome packet of helpful Township information including your trash pick up zone.
2. Pick up your Recycling Bin
   
   • If you have new construction you must pick up your Recycling Bin from the Sewer/Refuse Departments at the Township Municipal Building. Click the links on the left for Sewer and Refuse for more information.

Moving within UMT?

You must still submit a Moving Permit – we need to know of any change of address. Moving Permits are important for updating Township records, taxes, and utility bills.
