• If your event is “above and beyond normal usage” of Township facilities/property, then it is considered a special event, and will require a Special Event Permit. 
• Common Examples of Special Event Requests: Tournaments, Fundraisers, Races, Concerts, Large Gatherings, Festivals, etc.

• Print/Download the Special Event Permit
  Submit your completed Special Event Permit to the UMT Recreation Office making sure to include all necessary event details and supporting documents (Ex: Insurance, Licenses, Vendor Applications, etc.). Please allow for up to 2 months to complete the approval process. The event is not approved until the township sends an approval statement and invoice for the event.
