Cetronia Ambulance Corps is the emergency medical service provider for Upper Macungie Township. Emergency services are located at two facilities:

  1. Upper Macungie Township Emergency Services Building – Station 56– located at 6510 Schantz Road, Upper Macungie Township
  2. Cetronia Ambulance Corps Headquarters – Station 62– located at 4300 Broadway, Allentown

Cetronia Ambulance Corps was founded in 1955 by eight volunteers from the tiny village of Cetronia, a suburb of Allentown, Pa. Today, the non-profit organization is staffed by nearly 125 full- and part-time career associates that proudly serve Lynn, South Whitehall, Upper Macungie, Weisenberg and Whitehall townships, as well as portions of Lowhill, Salisbury, Greenwich and Albany Townships, and the Borough of Coplay in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Cetronia Ambulance Corps is one of the largest providers of ambulance services in Eastern Pennsylvania, boasting a total fleet of 41 vehicles, including 19 ambulances, 20 para-transit vehicles, a supervisor’s vehicle, and a special services unit. As the regional leader in EMS, Cetronia Ambulance Corps fields over 46,000 calls annually, covering an emergency service area that spans across 130 square miles, touching more than 226,000 people, and a non-emergency coverage area that encompasses five counties. Cetronia Ambulance Corps is proud to support the residents of the Greater Lehigh Valley and beyond and remains dedicated to community involvement, outreach, and education throughout the region.

Cetronia Ambulance Corps provides the following Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical Services:

  • 9-1-1 response areas
  • Medical transportation services
  • Advanced life support
  • Basic life support
  • Ambulette and wheelchair services
