National Night Out is back for 2024! Rain or Shine!

Theme: The Magical World of Upper Macungie Township

Please help us bring The Magic of Upper Macungie Township themes alive and wear your favorite Mickey Mouse ears or costume!

This is an annual community-building campaign that promotes Police-Community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Together, we are making that happen! With live music, food truck festival, car show, K9 demonstrations, police, fire and EMS displays, games, free giveaways and information booths, its a day designed to foster community and mutual trust..

The event is particularly significant because it provides a unique opportunity for residents to engage directly with law enforcement officers in a relaxed, informal environment. This interaction is empowering, helping to break down barriers, build trust, and create a shared sense of responsibility for community safety. Children and families can enjoy fun activities like face painting, balloon animals, bounce houses, photo opportunities with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Ariel, Spider-Man, and Tiana, and attractions. At the same time, adults can discuss concerns and suggestions with local officials.
